This blog is a little overdue, but I just had to write about it. About 1 month ago, I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful bridal shower for a special friend of mine. A friend who I have known since I was about 15. It’s hard to believe how much time has gone by! We have seen each other through so much in life, from our high school years of fun and frolicking, to our college years of late nights studying, ummm….only some of the time, to our post college years, working and in the real world, to witnessing and sharing in my marriage celebration just over 10 years ago, to seeing me become a mom and riding this joyous but crazy train called motherhood. Now, here I am, watching her begin a whole new chapter in her life as a married women. In about a week, my husband and I will be traveling to Mexico to celebrate her marriage with her. Oh the fun and memories that await us! I know the future has an abundance of happiness in store for them and I can’t wait to be there to see it all happen and celebrate all the times ahead with them now!
So, did I mention the bridal shower was beautiful! It was a Tiffany & Co. Bridal Shower Theme, done in shades of aqua and white, much like the store. I’m sure many of you already saw some of the photo’s through social media, so this may be repetitive, but if not here are a few shots of everything.
The invitation was done in aqua, black and white and incorporated a neat little Tori & Co. monogram which was carried throughout the whole shower. Then, for the seating cards, I used the same aqua stock and did a simple tent style card, again using the monogram. I did the table numbers square and in black and white to stand out from the other pieces and pop on the tables. I used the very popular scalloped shape and backed them onto a thick black cardstock, with a little crystal on the monogram for some sparkle. All of these items can be found on my website for purchase. Please contact me if you have any questions about anything. You’ll also see many other items at the tables, and in the photos, like the lovely Tiffany box sugar cookies done by Michelle Nikodem at Cookies by Michelle. The gorgeous Tiffany box cake, done especially for the bride with a giant rice krispie treat in the center, by Shannon O’Neill at O’Mazing Cakes. Very talented ladies! It still takes a number of other amazing women to put it all together though. Truly an extra special event for a special lady!
