Here’s to a series of posts that will feature all of the various birthday invitations I’ve recently talked about or added to my website. The first being one of my favorites to design, the Milk and Cookies Birthday Party Invitations! When I was asked if I could design an invitation for a cookies and milk themed birthday party, I had honestly thought, hmm…never heard of that one before but the inspiration board was too cute, I couldn’t resist! Come to find out it’s actually quite a popular theme, and perfect for either a boy or a girl. So the final product turned out like so,
This invitation is a twist of elegant and a bit vintage in style. It includes a really neat tri-fold with a lovely satin ribbon wrap, both the tri-fold and wrap can be done in any color, a scalloped die cut invitation with a vintage tea staining and distressed corners is adhered inside the tri-fold. The invitation comes with a coordinating outer envelope as well, all for just $3.00 per invitation. It’s simply perfect for children of many ages’ birthday parties!
I’ve created my own inspiration board on Pinterest, pinning a number of different pictures to visualize this theme as well. There’s too many to write about all of them so I’m going to share some of my favorites with you today. First being this awesome, outdoor milk and cookies party venue.
The best part about this table set up is the crates. I love how they used them in various directions and as shelving showcasing the assorted cookie jars, vintage milk drinking bottles, flowers and just about everything else. Another thing I just love about this table set up is the food name cards, I love the layered card look and the frame around the wording. Don’t hesitate to ask about these types of items to coordinate with your invitations, because I can do them all! Another favorite pin of mine is this milk buffet.
What a super cool way of doing a milk buffet for your guests. I secretly love the dresser too! What a great pop of color and it definitely adds to the vintageness of the whole theme. And, lastly another sweet table set up.
We see here another vintage dresser all decked out for the party! The rustic sign, the vintage dresser and the vintage milk bottles displayed all tie together so well with the milk and cookies invitation to make this party and this theme complete.
I hope you’ve found some inspiration with this invitation and the pictures have helped you visualize the whole theme. Perhaps your next party will be a milk and cookies theme for your little one?
